Problem Description:
The version of ls bundled with fileutils and, in later versions of Mandrakelinux, coreutils would segfault on listing directories with a large number of files in them, on the amd64 platform.
The updated packages correct the problem.

To upgrade automatically use MandrakeUpdate or urpmi. The verification of md5 checksums and GPG signatures is performed automatically for you.
