Mandrakelinux 10.2 Christmas Cooker Snapshot

An early development snapshot of Mandrakelinux 10.2 is available
Available on any good mirror is a Christmas cooker snapshot. Only one CD, but it has now the 'adding extra sources' feature during install. Some thematic changes, which, you have my word, are not previews of future 10.2 ones. Previously our boot process didn't have any animations, except the progress bar; I corrected this error, with my poor art skills, I must admit, and create a small animation, which, I hope, will help the community using my example to create new ones, prettier.
The installation procedure now uses the Move technology, a compressed loopback, and no longer uses a ramdisk. This choice will limit the memory requirement for the install process, and will make the install program generation easier.
The packages included are the ones from cooker, except the bootsplash and the mandrakelinux-theme packages.
This first snapshot in the 10.2 development cycle is only a preview of the future beta period which is likely to start during January. The estimated schedule includes a 10.2 Community version for March, and an Official version for April.
The core files on the root of the CD are normal, proving that it is a REAL snapshot
