When I first booted the CD, it gave me the option to run LinspireLive or to install it. I wasn't interested in installing, so I just ran the live version. I soon noticed that the live cd was extremely slow. In fact, I don't think that I have seen a slower Live CD. The system I was running it on had plenty of RAM to work (320 MB), but it was really slow. The installer was also noticeably slow. It took at least 5 minutes once the x server was started to display the cursor and the Linspire backdrop, and a few more to get the whole desktop up.
