LinuxNov reports that Intel’s Lan Access Division “LAD” working on peer to peer Thunderbolt software support for Linux operating systems
Thunderbolt technology aimed for connecting peripheral multiple devices to expansion bus in a computers by combining PCIe and enhanced display port into new serial data interface. Thunderbolt offer high speed transfer rate up to 10 GB/s per port is way faster than USB 3 and eSATA. So far Thunderbolt technology is not available for many systems, however, it will be compatible with the most available devices nowadays.
