"The first rule of a SuSE install is that the "upgrade an existing installation" choice is like the windshield wipers on BMWs: it leads you to believe that something is safe when it is not; in the case of BMWs that they can be driven in the rain, and in the case of SuSE that it's possible to upgrade from an earlier version. They can't and it isn't."
