SHSPVR has a step by step guide about how to make your WinTV-PVR 250 work in Linux
Note:I've only tested this under a 2.4 kernel. You will also need framebuffer support or you will need to amputate that section of code from these drivers. Finally, I'm on NTSC. The audio chip configuration will need to be adjusted for your video standard.
