n00bs on Ubuntu posted a guide about keeping your Nvidia drivers up-to-date on Ubuntu 11.10




Here is a guide that shows you how to add the x-swat ppa and to install the latest driver for Nvidia cards. To add the x-swat ppa and to install the latest nvidia driver open a terminal window and copy+paste the following lines: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nvidia-current
