gtkmm provides a C++ interface to GTK+. gtkmm 2.2 wraps GTK+ 2.2

This is the stable branch. gtkmm 2.3.x is also available, and can be installed in parallel.

* gtkmm 2.2.10 had an incorrect configure-time test, that mistakenly disabled some template code for gcc, used to convert from intermediate C++ containers to STL containers. For instance, this broke the gnome-vfsmm build.
