GNOME 2.21.5 Development Release is now available
This is the fifth release of the GNOME 2.21.x series, heading towards the stable GNOME 2.22.x release. More information about new development can be found here: http://live.gnome.org/RoadMap
Lots of new development has started already and new modules for 2.22 release have been integrated. Please test those as much as you can and file bugs in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/ if you want them fixed before the stable release.
Note that we are currently are in string + UI change announcement periods, as well as API/ABI, features and modules freezes.
Some nautilus-extensions might be missing in some modules (seahorse / file-roller), as they have not yet been ported to the new gio/gvfs infrastructure.
To compile GNOME 2.21.5, you can use GARNOME (http://www.gnome.org/projects/garnome/, which supports users and has additional/different modules available), or the jhbuild
(http://www.gnome.org/~jamesh/jhbuild.html) modulesets (which use the exact tarball versions from the official release) available at: http://download.gnome.org/teams/releng/2.21.5/
The release notes that describe the changes between 2.21.4 and 2.21.5 are available. Go read them to learn all the goodness of this release:
