A new security update has been released for Gentoo Linux - Py2Play: Remote execution of arbitrary Python code. Here the announcement:

The previous versions of Py2Play contain several vulnerabilities and had
been masked in the Portage Tree. This is fixed in version 0.1.8 and version
0.1.9 has been introduced into Portage.
