Centos 3.4 x86_64 RC1 has been released:
The CentOS team is happy to announce the availability of a release candidate for CentOS 3.4 x86_64. This product supports AMD64 and Intel EM64T processors.
Individual binary iso files are available from: http://beta.centos.org/centos/3.4beta/isos/x86_64/
A bit torrent for the 4 binary iso images is available from: http://beta.centos.org/centos/3.4beta/isos/x86_64/CentOS-3.4-x86_64-rc1-discs1-4.torrent
A source iso bittorrent is also available: http://beta.centos.org/centos/3.4beta/isos/x86_64/CentOS-3.4-x86_64-rc1-src1-3.torrent
Please try to use bittorrent to download and please leave your download client running after the download is complete (with ports 6881-6889 open) as your client will become part of the peer to peer bittorrent network and reduce the load on our network mirrors. If you need some quick pointers for getting up to speed on bittorrent read: http://www.centos.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=24
This is a RC and may not be suitable for use in production tasks.
