Ubuntu Vibes posted a roundup of the latest Ubuntu 11.10 development updates
Ubuntu 11.10 Updates: Thunderbird Now Default, Updated Overlay Scrollbars, Nautilus Improvements
In an update today, Thunderbird has been made the default email client in Ubuntu 11.10 as now it has been added to desktop-recommends in ubuntu-meta package.
Thunderbird now also shows up in messaging menu.
