OpenArena is an open-source, community-produced, deathmatch first person shooter(FPS) game licensed under the GPL. There are many game types supported including Free For All, Capture The Flag, Domination, Overload, Harvester among others. AssaultCube, formerly ActionCube, is a free, multiplayer, first-person-shooter(FPS) game which is also multiplatform. It takes place in realistic environments, with fast, arcade gameplay. Although the main focus of AssaultCube is multiplayer online gaming, a single player mode also exists. A slightly outdated version of AssaultCube is available in Ubuntu repositories.
