The keynotes of the upcoming SCaLE 16X Southern California Linux Expo has been announed

SCaLE keynote addresses are always a highlight of the event and 16X will be no exception.

We are pleased to announce that John Gossman, a Microsoft Distinguished Engineer and Azure Architect, will present "Microsoft's Open Source Software Evolution" on Saturday, March 10, 2018, Join John as he explains how Microsoft shifted gears relative to Open Source to the point where it now supports Linux on its cloud platform, contributes to kernel development

SCaLE 16X the 16th annual Southern California Linux Expo will take place on March. 8-11, 2018, at the Pasadena Convention Center. SCaLE 16X expects to host 150 exhibitors this year, along with nearly 130 sessions, tutorials and special events.

SCaLE is the largest community-run open-source and free software conference in North America. It is held annually in the greater Los Angeles area.
