The MonoDevelop team is proud to announce the release of MonoDevelop 1.0 RC1 (0.19). MonoDevelop is a GNOME IDE primarily designed for C# and other .NET languages.

This release is the last step before the final release of MonoDevelop 1.0. It contains lots of bug fixes, some performance improvements and memory use reductions.
