Matthew at the University of Colorado has posted a review on Mepis Linux

Well, I popped the Live CD into the drive and booted in, no problems so far, I logged into KDE just fine (I regularly use fluxbox, but didn't want to mess with ICEwm). Neat. Looked around at the different options, the "Mount Partitions" icon was of special significance to me. I had wanted to rescue some of my data off the old NTFS partition, but I had experienced problems with it before. Without delay I loaded up the mounting app and mounted my ntfs. Awesome, now I had access to all of my old files.
