Knoppix 3.8 comes to the CeBIT

The german c't magazine reports that Klaus Knopper will release Knoppix 3.8 on the CeBIT later this mouth.

Knoppix 3.8 is the first Knoppix version, which uses the Kernel 2.6 (2.6.11-rc3). Knoppix 3.8 will also include the latest packages from the testing and unstable branch of Debian GNU/Linux: OpenOffice 1.1.4, KDE 3.3.2, Firefox 1.0, and Thunderbird 1.0. WLAN support has been improved by using the ndiswrapper. Also, this version of Knoppix will use the Unionfs.
