Pmcount for Linux on Power Architecture is a Linux tool for configuring, collecting, and printing the performance counter events on IBM PowerPC 970, POWER4, POWER4+, POWER5, and POWER5+ processors. This tool is necessary for analyzing performance issues and identifying or eliminating possible problems.
