The second beta release of GNOME 3 is available for download

One more important step towards the great GNOME 3 release! It's pretty clear that things are getting much more stable release-wise. Thanks everyone! This release introduces the string freeze period and the UI freeze is still in effect so all changes to UI and strings should be approved by release, docs and localization teams before commiting.

So, what are you waiting for? Download it! Build it! Test it! Break it!

To compile GNOME 2.91.91, you can the jhbuild [1] modulesets [2] (which use the exact tarball versions from the official release):

This release is a snapshot of development code. Although it is buildable and usable, it is primarily intended for testing and hacking purposes. GNOME uses odd minor version numbers to indicate development status.
