It seems that the USB communication to this printer does not work. Alone lsusb does not work with it, and dmesg tells me something like "control timeout on ep0in" But this printer is also not listed on HPs compatibility page: http://hpinkjet.sourceforge.net/productslj.php\

I ran the "cube with cogs and gears" test and got 850 fps!! The ati proprietary driver installed seamlessly and just worked. It sits in the PCI Express x16 main slot in an Intel D975Xbx2 motherboard. The processor is the QX6700, Core 2 Quad Extreme (four cores at 2.66 GHz with 4 MB of L2 cache each). This is 64 bit Ubuntu. I would say that it cannot be overemphasized enough that a main line motherboard is imperative if you wish to see good performance from these high end OpenGL cards. Bob McGwier

For use with AMD 64/32 bit processors. Works well with recent kernel version 2.6.29 or greater. To make the most of built in Nvidia graphics system use of the proprietary Nvidia driver is recommended though it will work with the OSS driver as well. The on board sound may be problematic. Use a more Linux compatible PCI/PCIe sound card. Only 1 PATA channel available for a total of 2 PATA devices. Up to 5 SATA device channels depending on mode of operation chosen in bios. Uses wider pci slot that is ok for thicker PCI boards but thinner (read not spec) pci cards may have connection problems. Has been rock solid steady for me during the 6 months I have had it.

Only main problem is to use the newest drivers you need to recompile your kernel but it works great it overclocks well runs all games no problem so far but as far as the actual hardware goes works no problem at all

Bult-in Network card on Asus P5B motherboard. Downloaded and installed the r1000 v1.05 driver from the vendor, but the card is not working properly at neither speed 10 or 100 half or full duplex. I have not had the opportunity to test it at speed 1000. The ping times on the local network varies from 0.1 ms to many seconds with a high average. Many packages are lost, so the card is useless in practice.

The e1000 module works with the 2.6.15 kernel, although i suspect it should work with the whole 2.6.x branch. I found this particular controller incompatible with the 2.4.29 kernel.
