Linux tested: Linux Mint 8 and Ubuntu Linux 9.10. All the hardware works fine (graphic and sound card, webcam, special keys, Wifi, ...) Note: for the wifi configuration, it needs to download the drivers from internet... so it's necessary to have a ethernet connection at hand.

This parallel port scanner has a proprietary protocol Agfa refuses to open. Too bad. The Windows driver software runs in VMware, however, and maybe it works in the future in wine or bochs, both of which lack real parallel port support when I last tested them.

You need do nothing special to use these little beauties under Linux of any kind. I've used Gentoo, RedHat, FreeBSD and Debian on these machines with absolutely no problems.

EN: Nothing to do under Ubuntu Dapper Drake. 3D acceleration not tested deeply but It worked well too without any modification since install. FR: Tout marche bien sous Ubuntu Dapper Drake. L'acceleration 3D n'a pas ete teste a fond mais semble marcher correctement sans avoir fait la moindre modification depuis l'installation. PL: Wszystko dzieje się dobrze pod Ubuntu Dapper Drake. Mimo acceleracja 3D nie była głęboko sprawdzona, wyglądało na to że tak samo dobrze dzialła bez żadniej modifikacji od momentu instalacji.

19" widescreen LCD monitor. KDE versions < 4.2.4 don't recognize the native resolution of 1680x1050; later versions do but set a 60Hz refresh rate, which is apparently out of range at that resolution. Adding a 1680x1050 70 Hz mode to xorg.conf helps in both cases. Tested (over time) with both Arch and Debian Sid.

8-axis, 12-button programmable PS2/PS3/PC gamepad. All axes and buttons work as intended. Even programming works just fine, as you do that on the gamepad itself (without software) and it stores the settings in an internal EEPROM. Tested on newest Sidux with KDE 4.3.1.

Debian Lenny Release candidate 2 of the debian installer. I did netinst version of the debian lenny install. I have a sata disk, a GS7600 (nvidia) video card. The install was done Feb 12, 2009 so Lenny (testing) version of Debian is just about to go "stable". Lenny installed perfectly. I have run it for a day with absolutely no issues.

This product is suposed to be a DVB tuner. It is almost a good one under Microsoft OS, if you find a driver that works, which was difficult. Some of them are suposed to work on linux, because the hardware is generic and compatible (LiteOn) and has a driver included with recent kernel sources. However, mine refuse to work, because it is made such a way that udev cannot get enough information from sysfs to do it's stuff. Never succeeded in uploading the firmware anyway.

The mini SD card can be accessed via the USB cable that comes with the phone. It's not /dev/sda1 like a USB key, but /dev/sda. I'm having a hard time mounting it read/write as a non privileged user, but it should be possible by configuring udev properly. No problem as root. The internal memory of the phone does not show up.
