Submitted by Anonymous on 2008-02-02 10:30:33 This product has a rating of 2 out of 5 running under Ubuntu Linux Comments: I bought this card after reading reviews from others that it "works out of the box" in Ubuntu. The card is recognized fine (as ra0) but the problems begin when you try to activate the interface. The worst issues are that it can lock up the PC entirely, either during boot-up, or strangely during the *login* process?! I am now planning to follow the instructions given at: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=437937 Hopefully that will give me a somewhat working card. In hindsight, I wish that I had bought something else. |
