ATI Radeon 9000 Pro
Submitted by Anonymous on 2007-10-14 15:14:48 This product has a rating of 5 out of 5 running under Ubuntu Linux Comments: I'm on Ubuntu 7.04 (feisty fawn)on Abit AV8 system w/ old ATI Radeon 9000 pro. This card works good. I didn't have problem with 3D cuz I upgraded the RAM memory to 1 GB and it ran effortlessly on 3D desktop. BUT If turn on animation, and many settings. It'll slow down a bit. I don't see much problem with it. I noticed that newer "Beta" Ubuntu 7.10 did have issue with graphic card. it works fine but the monitor did not center. I had to change the resolution and refresh rate to match Monitor's config. It works fine. but when logged off and the logon screen was off center and "large". So I haven't figure it out how to fix that log on screen issue. |
