Submitted by Anonymous on 2007-06-24 10:45:52 This product has a rating of 4 out of 5 running under Ubuntu Linux Comments: The SiS integrated graphics chipset on this board perform horribly in everything OpenGL related - be prepared to buy a cheap AGP card if you get hold of this board. There is also a problem with sound stuttering in some 3D apps with the integrated sound chip and also with discrete sound cards. It is not an IRQ conflict and increasing PCI bus latency doesn't help too, so I think the chipset is just a bit buggy. Tested on my second PC with Kubuntu Feisty. |
