If you setup dsl via an ethernet card - as in this case -, don't use the Yast dsl module! If your ISP needs authentication, don't use the default internet applet under gnome. Use this program, it works well: http://www.roaringpenguin.com/penguin/pppoe (rp-pppoe) Just install your ethernet card and choose an address as mentioned in the router setup guide. Using default settings, you don't even need to access the web-based setup of the router. |
