Submitted by Tom on 2005-07-01 12:00:00 This product has a rating of 5 out of 5 running under Linux other Comments: Nice pcmcia v.92 dial up modem. Full hardward modem (not wintel). Works with Linux, specifically tested with Fedora Core 3 on a Compaq Presario (yes, it's an ancient machine: 390MHz CPU, 384Kb ram, 4Gb hard drive). I had to use /dev/ttyS1 since the network control couldn't use the sym link /dev/modem. |
