i've posted long reports on www.ttlg.com Terra Nova SFC forum on how it worked on most OS, but you need to have old hardware.
I used an IBM Notebook computer, ThinkPad 600E which is a Pentium II-366 MHz with 2Mb Video Ram and AD/SoundMax sound chip, 40Gb Harddisk, 128Mb RAM. Old hardware system, but I tested by running Windows 95OSR2, Windows 98SE, Windows XP with SP2. They all worked without using any other drivers or VDMSound alike. It worked. So it's not the OS that prevented Terra Nova to work. It is the modern cards and drivers that did not accomodate some of Terra Nova's features.
No lie, you can try. I've proved this already because it worked on all the operating systems I mentioned above. Tested in July 2005.
