This is a backlit, LED-illuminated keyboard. I plugged it into the USB port on my computer running SuSE Linux 9.2 Professional and it was immediately recognized.
This keyboard has a solid, robust feel. The key switch hardware is described as "50 million cycle gold crosspoint key switches." I've paid more cash for much more cheesy and flimsy stuff.
While the keyboards are promoted as cool gaming accessories, the keyboards are highly functional and practical. The backlighting is not gimmicky at all. I have a Gold one and it is great for coding in low light conditions. The keyboard also comes in Blue, Red, and Green.
