It seems that the USB communication to this printer does not work. Alone lsusb does not work with it, and dmesg tells me something like "control timeout on ep0in" But this printer is also not listed on HPs compatibility page: http://hpinkjet.sourceforge.net/productslj.php\

To be able to use most Lexmark printers, you need to download the drivers from here. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=679505 these drivers work with the X600series, but are known to work with most Lexmark colour inkjets

Works like a charm with full 3D. Also running BattleField 1942/DC_Final. Drivers can be a hassle, but not impossible. (Tried on Debian (woody) and Gentoo (2004.2 and up.))

Works great. Only issue is that there is no "Parallel ATA" support for the Promise RAID/SATA controller. The IDE connections are there and they work under windows, but not in linux.

This parallel port scanner has a proprietary protocol Agfa refuses to open. Too bad. The Windows driver software runs in VMware, however, and maybe it works in the future in wine or bochs, both of which lack real parallel port support when I last tested them.

Linux tested: Linux Mint 8 and Ubuntu Linux 9.10. All the hardware works fine (graphic and sound card, webcam, special keys, Wifi, ...) Note: for the wifi configuration, it needs to download the drivers from internet... so it's necessary to have a ethernet connection at hand.

Tested with Fedora 8, Ubuntu 7.1 and works great. Brigh ajustable, suspend/resume, hibernate, etc... Memory stick slot does NOT work and ms led shines all the time. Wifi works great too. In fedora 8, before install, pass this parameter to the kernel, if not, the installation freezes over: acpi=off, idedma=off , apc=off When is intalled, modify /boot/grub/grub.conf and delete this parameters and test if all works.

Ubuntu Karmic Koala (9.10) Server will complete installation but will NOT boot. Boot drive will not be recognized. Tried IDE, AHCI, and RAID drive settings. Going back to Asus P35 chipset based board which works fine with this release.
