Most of the 33 extra keys work. The web browser keys and the scroll wheel however don't generate keycodes even on the kernel level.

May be problem with configuration, but it was not working very well. I tried both KNetworkManager and wvdial. I would say there were slightly more problems with wvdial. Problems: Sometimes modem hanged up. I should better say it was wvdial who hanged up, as modem sometimes indicated it is connected by blue light on. Restarting wvdial was not enough, but restarting modem usually helped, sometimes it was necessary to restart 2 or 3 times. (It has never happened under WinXP, but I was using it most of the time under GNU/Linux, so it might be a chance.)

I just bought SE G502. It works like a charm - requires just connecting to USB (you will need to buy cable first, it is not included in package) and that's all - new network interface usb0 is created and configured automatically.

Works fine with CIFS access (Samba). Did not work straight away when trying to mount as NFS filesystem, but this may be due to the fact that I had already declared a CIFS volume (I read somewhere that this may cause problems). I didn't try very hard to get NFS access, as the device only supports NFS 3.0 anyway, which only provides machine authentication. User authentication, as done under CIFS (and NFS 4.0) is preferable.

You need to disable ADMA by putting sata_nv.adma=0 as a boot parameter in order to install Ubuntu 8.04 64-bit. The 32-bit version installs without this parameter.

i've tested this webcam on Sidux 2007-01 (kernel version 2.6.20.1-slh-smp-2) with the gspca driver. both the camera and its built-in microphone work without any issues.

Worked the first time, without any driver installs. Gyration Ultra wireless gyro mouse also worked 1st time. Both devices controlled by Gyration suppoled USB wireless controller.
