54 MBit/s Wireless PCI Adapter. The Netgear WG311 WLAN adapter is currently not working unter Debian GNU/Linux "Sarge" (MADwifi drivers). In a clean setup, Debian-Installer doesen't recognize the card at all.

WG311v2 working under Fedora Core 3. Watch out, WG311v1 is Atheros chipset (can use MADwifi drivers), WG311v2 uses TI ACX111 chipset (must use drivers from acx100.sourceforge.net)

I have the WG311v2; I could not get this card working with the acx100 drivers from Sourceforge. However, using ndiswrapper, I have been able to get this card working at 54Mbps in managed mode, with WEP enabled.

It's working out of box in Ubuntu 5.04 using madfifi. Except for the wpa, you should install wpa_supplicant separately.
