RioOne MP3 player USB (5)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Linux other and has a average rating of 5

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2007-02-26 09:43:27 by Anonymous running Linux other:
Linux recognizes the player as two usb-storage drives (one for the internal 32MB memory, the other for the external SmartMedia card).
Here's a good link for setting up the RIO: http://www.bol.ucla.edu/~dbmurata/rioone/rioone_howto.html

On SuSE Linux systems at least 7.2 and up, you do not have to re-compile the kernel.
On my system, I access the internal memory as /dev/sdb1, and the external memory as /dev/sdb5 (my Zip drive uses /dev/sda).
