This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Debian GNU/Linux and has a average rating of 2

The last rating (2) has been submitted on 2009-04-19 23:57:09 by Anonymous running Debian GNU/Linux:
Debian Lenny 5 and earlier Debians. AMD64 kernel 2.6.29 and earlier.

It needs the saa7134 module with the options card=78 tuner=54. card=81 tuner=54 will also work. (It actually uses a different tuner, =61 I think, but only works this way.)

For me the best way to get sound is to use an internal CDROM wire from it to the sound card; make sure mixer settings are not too high otherwise distortion on sound. Also something like: $ sox -q -c 2 -s -w -r 32000 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp1 -t ossdsp -w -c 2 -r 32000 -v 2 /dev/dsp , this needs the saa7134 oss compatibility module and the oss sox 'module'.

Everything works, i.e. analog television, fm radio, teletext. Get impression DVB, digital television, would also work; but I do not know because I don't have a signal in my area.
