It may not be a major headline but I have always been a fan of FREE. Our friends at Novell are giving away some software. Check out the following link.

This is what comes in the package.

- SUSE LINUX Standard Server 8.0 (ISO Installation Images)
- SUSE LINUX 9.1 Professional (Bootable Installation DVD)
- Ximian Desktop 2.0 Evaluation (ISO Image)
- Ximian Red Carpet 2.0.2 Evaluation (ISO Image)
- Novell Linux Services 1.0 (ISO Image & NLS Companion CD)
- Novell GroupWise for Linux 6.5.1 - Server, Client & Messenger (ISO Images)

Mine is on the way.

Enjoy!

I orderd it too but just today I read on
http://www.linuxcompatible.org/story31552.html
that the Suse 9.1 Professional DVD is an Evaluation version.
I'm not sure but if you look at each photo you can see that is says "Evaluation Software" in bold letters. Does that mean Suse 9.1 Professional is an Evaluation version (aka trial, demo software)

It certainly didn't say the on the page when I ordered it so maybe I though there was a catch.

What do you think?

I ordered mine a few days ago, so I'll know then. There can't be a catch if it's free..

i think what they mean is this you can use it for no proiftable means

being home use only
you cant bring this to the office and use it to do office work
but you can use it at home for an indefinite time at least i think thats what they mean
