It accepts 7 kinds of media cards: Compact Flash Type I and II, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Smart Media, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Card, and SD Card media.  I plugged it into my system and SuSE Linux Pro 9.1 recognized the device automatically and mounted the media in the slots. I have tested it with a 256M CF storage and a 256M SD card and it works perfectly without and issues.</description>
