This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Ubuntu Linux and has a average rating of 1

The last rating (1) has been submitted on 2009-09-12 11:17:02 by Anonymous running Ubuntu Linux:
Thank you for your recent visit to the Kodak Web site and question about KODAK ESP 7 All-in-One Printer.

We are quite concerned over your experience, and are sorry for any inconvenience or frustration this has caused you. We will do our best to help you.

Mr_BiJae, I sincerely apologize but we don’t have the drivers available for Ubuntu or Linux operating system. But you can use ESP7 printer as a stand alone machine to scan, copy or print any photos or documents from the memory card or from the camera or over the Network to print anything.

We are glad to be of service and are here for you if you need us in the future. If you do reply, please be sure to include any previous e-mail so we may assist you better.

Regards

Kodak EasyShare Z740 (4)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Linux other,MEPIS Linux and has a average rating of 4

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2005-12-27 12:19:45 by lykwydchykyn running Linux other:
Hot diggity. Took a bit of time to get it going but this Z740, a brand new model (as of March 2005) does work under gtkam as a USB PTP Class Camera, per previous reports of what to use with these newer EasyShare digital cameras. This model came with the EasyShare Printer Dock Series 3 and the camera was docked with the USB connected to the printer/dock (not the camera). You have to push the button with the computer icon on the dock and turn on the camera to get the communications going and gtkam should detect it at some point (the dock icon will start blinking when something is happening). Some of the other Linux camera programs will eventually detect as well (eg., Kamera & Digikam). It took a bit to get the communications going but it did finally get going and I could transfer pictures over to my PC running Suse 9, using gtkam.

Note: I use SuSE 8.2 which ships with development status libghoto2 libs, which do not support the kodak dx4330 (ie:crash). Either downgrade your libgphoto2 libs or use a card reader.
