IBM NetVista 6794 (5)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: CentOS,Ark Linux and has a average rating of 5

The last rating (3) has been submitted on 2010-03-30 19:12:16 by Anonymous running CentOS:
Bought lot of four IBM NetVista 6794, one would not boot CentOS4 (RHEL4) at all -- froze during both liveCD and install CD. On the other hand, two worked fine no problems.

Either one system had flaky hardware, or else there were significant BIOS/motherboard variations through the life of the NetVista 6794 product line and some work with linux and some don't.

Amusingly one of the systems had Windows XP refuse to install while CentOS installed fine! Never had that happen before!
