i got it working with 8139too , but it losses packets , and does not work totally with big packet sizes >10000

it is possible to DOS a workstation with
ping -s 20000 ip ...

under windows it works perfectly , even with
ping -s 65000 ...

so the problem is in the driver
i found some drivers , but they are destinated for 2.4.x kernels ....
