This driver is in the database of ubuntu 7.4 and 7.10, so it was easy to install. Do not worry if your first paper prints a bit crooked, second one will be printed correctly.

Worked at my first attempt on SuSE 8.2. I simply configured the scanner from YAST2 and then launched XScanImage. It previewed and scanned correctly one color image at 300 dpi
