Belkin F8T012 USB Bluetooth Adapter (5)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Fedora Core,Ubuntu Linux and has a average rating of 5

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2008-01-24 10:52:09 by Anonymous running Fedora Core:
Works, however requires a step i.e. pegasus kernel module loads. This needs to be blacklisted so it wont load. If this is not done the bluetooth kernel module will not work. To do this put: blacklist pegasus into /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist by issuing the following commands as root:
echo "Belkin F8T012 Compatibility Blacklist" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
echo "blacklist pegasus" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist

Hope this helps.

Belkin F5D6001 (1)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Linux other and has a average rating of 1

The last rating (1) has been submitted on 2004-01-01 12:00:00 by Anonymous running Linux other:
The I installed both the precompiled driver from admtek and the 1.05 source with RedHat 7.3 which is supposed to be the supported platform. Both modules could be loaded and worked OK for a while, but then the card/driver would do a rescan (unclear why) and after resetting the channel the connection dies until a manual iwconfig eth1 key XXXX-XXXX-XX is given to the card. No powersaving is active, not in the bios, apm or on the card (iwconfig eth1 power off). Basically the card will work like a charm, but after some time (something like 15 min to an hour) all stops. So this is not a working setup.

F5D6001au PCI Wireless Ethernet Adapter (5)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Linux other and has a average rating of 5

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2003-11-01 12:00:00 by Anonymous running Linux other:
I installed this on my Mandrake 9.2 system. Mandrake 9.2 does not provide out of the box support for this device. It is an ADMTek 8211 chipset product. I downloaded the ADMTek kernel driver 1.05, symlinked my kernel source to /usr/src/linux-2.4 and compiled the module without modification to the makefile. It worked first time with an insmod 8211.o

It is configurable with iwconfig eth0 ... The only thing to note is that the last iwconfig command should always be the
essid. Apparently subsequent iwconfig non-essid settings do not take until another essid command is given.

I am running it perfectly with 128bit WEP encryption using infrastructure mode.
