I've used Mandrake 9.2 on the same laptop but MDK refused to work properly with the external keboard which is a native PS/2 bu connected to the laptop using a PS/2-USB converter as the laptop do not have a PS/2 port. Fedora just automatically configure it for me without any problem.</description>

minor issues with the wireless driver. This can be resolved in terminal with: 
'sudo apt-get install linux-backports-modules-intrepid-generic' (without quotes) - wired lan works out of the box. Connect wired lan for this install.
This will add driver 'Support for 5xxx series of Atheros 802.11 wireless LAN cards'. enable this driver and deactivate the 'Support for Atheros 802.11' that is selected default. - reboot and atheros wireless is operational.

Video driver Geforce - choose driver 177.</description>

Cache (1Mb!) and Nifty power saving options are accessable through the unstable 2.5.67 kernel, but then there is no laptop. Even without the cache it runs very well actually. </description>
